Tonight, UCF Knights put together a complete performance at the Acrisure Bounce House, securing a dominant 34-9 victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Knights set the tone immediately on their opening drive of the first quarter, marching 75 yards on 13 plays before quarterback Tayven Jackson ran it in for a 13-yard touchdown. Shortly after, the defense made its presence felt when Nyjalik Kelly intercepted a deflected pass, setting up a 36-yard field goal from Noe Ruelas to establish a quick 10-0 lead.

The second quarter saw UCF continue to stretch its advantage while suffocating the Tar Heels' offense. Ruelas drilled another field goal, this time from 41 yards, to push the lead to 13-0. North Carolina briefly cut into the deficit with a 40-yard field goal late in the period, but the Knights answered immediately. With just 13 seconds left before the halftime break, Jackson connected with Kylan Fox on a 17-yard touchdown pass, sending UCF into the locker room with a comfortable 20-3 cushion.

UCF kept its foot on the gas in the second half to put the game completely out of reach. Running back Myles Montgomery opened the third-quarter scoring with a 1-yard touchdown plunge. North Carolina managed to answer with their only touchdown of the night on an 8-yard pass from Max Johnson, but their failed two-point conversion kept the score at 27-9. Running back Jaden Nixon put the final touches on the blowout in the fourth quarter, capping off a massive 11-minute drive with a 5-yard touchdown run to cement the 34-9 final score.
