UCF hosted the Owls only to send them home with a giant L. This game is now the largest margin of victory that UCF has enjoyed vs Temple. What started out as a fairly normal 1st quarter quickly became a slaughter. 

Temple was held to a single field goal, in the second quarter, while UCF scored three Touchdowns.  Going into halftime, the scoreboard read UCF 35 - Temple 13.  Sure that sucks, if you're an Owl but that's not an unsurmountable deficit... There's always the 2nd half, right?

Unfortunately for Temple, their 2nd half would turn out to be even worse (yes, hard to believe but true) than the 2nd quarter. 

UCF scored 21 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter and 14 more in the final quarter.  The total sum of points for UCF, at the end of the night, would mark the highest they have ever run the board up against Temple.  UCF 70 - Temple 13, this tops the  63-21 loss Temple suffered on their own home turf, back in 2019.
