The University of Central Florida (UCF) continued their strong start to the season with a convincing 45-14 victory over Sam Houston State on Saturday. Led by a dominant rushing performance from RJ Harvey, the Knights showcased their offensive prowess and defensive tenacity.

Harvey, who rushed for three touchdowns in the first half, finished the game with 126 yards on 19 carries. UCF's ground game, which amassed an impressive 454 yards against New Hampshire the previous week, once again proved to be a formidable force. Sam Houston State struggled to find their offensive rhythm against UCF's defense. The Bearkats were limited to just 118 total yards in the first half and were unable to generate any sustained drives. UCF's defensive line and secondary effectively disrupted Sam Houston's offensive plans, forcing turnovers and limiting their scoring opportunities.
